How does Findify’s content search work?
Findify takes the words that shoppers type into the search box and looks through both the products and any content that merchant has assigned to Findify to search though. It can handle any kind of content – from blog posts to videos to photos – on any platform. As with all of Findify’s solutions, content search is available to use on sites on any platforms too, as part of our Enterprise plan.
Findify can pull content from where the store has it and put it into the site’s search results seamlessly, so it looks and feels just like the rest of the store. The look and feel can be customized, just as the rest of Findify can.
Our Customer Success team is here to help get content search set up on your site – on any platform.
What type of stores should be using it?
The content search solution works with any stores that have content other than product descriptions. It works particularly well for stores that provide instructions and guides, such as beauty products and car parts retailers, as examples. Even a few blog posts are enough to enable it to increase conversions
Findify’s content search can even include the store’s Instagram content!
For stores that use Instagram for marketing, Findify can search and put Instagram content into the search results. Not only does this put Instagram content in front of shoppers, it closes the loop for tagged products. Shoppers see the posts and read the information, then click on the tagged products in their Instagram posts, taking them back to the website, ready to buy. Findify shortens the number clicks from the search results via content to the product.
