Findify is extremely pleased to announce that Jacob Tooman has joined our team as Head of Sales.
Jacob is based in San Diego. He will be helping US-based online merchants scale and increase sales using Findify’s artificial intelligence search and personalization technology.
Jacob is a self-professed sales-representative-turned-tech-enthusiast. He has spent much of the last five years working in e-commerce project management, excelling in design, user experience and building web applications. He joins Findify from Brand Value Accelerator (BVAccel), one of the largest Shopify Plus agencies in the world. He was BVAccel’s Senior Project Manager in charge of strategy and execution for enterprise merchants.
Jacob explains: “As a project manager, I have helped merchants scale from $10 million to $100 million in annual revenue. We’ve done this by adding the best technology stacks (including Findify) that best fits their online business needs.”
At Findify, Jacob will be working with merchants who want to increase conversions on their Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento websites. Findify works for merchants of any size, bringing Amazon-style artificial intelligence to the websites of e-commerce businesses in all industries, though a reasonable-sized product catalog and categories make it really valuable to have the personalized search, recommendations and collections that Findify provides.
“I personally know what a difference personalized search makes to the revenue of e-commerce stores. I want to see as many merchants as possible using Findify’s AI-driven technology to ensure they grow/optimize their business.” says Jacob.
Findify works particularly well with Shopify Plus. Jacob’s strong expertise with it (having handled large Shopify migrations and worked with top brands on Shopify Plus) only reinforces our growth with Shopify Plus’s 3,600 online stores.
Jacob adds: “I am looking forward to working with the small- to enterprise-sized e-commerce businesses across all industries, including fashion, homeware, groceries and cosmetics, getting them using Findify’s AI search and personalization technology to sell more products online than they currently do today.”

Jacob will be working alongside Joakim Amadeus Olsson, Findify’s new Head of Business Development. Joakim is based between Stockholm and Lucerne and is spearheading further growth in northern and central Europe.
Jacob says: “We’ve seen stores increase their revenue from 10% up to 50% just by implementing Findify. I am really looking forward to spending the next years bringing that revenue increase to more online stores.”
